Emma
documentary

Emma is eight years old and has cerebral palsy. Emma's brain injury means she is linguistically, cognitively and motorically challenged. While it may seem like she is able to do many of the same things as other children, the reality is quite different.

In her everyday life, she often feels different, but with the horses, she doesn't. Here, Emma is not bound by her body, which doesn't always want to do the same things as her head do. In the company of the horses, Emma is free.

This short documentary is instructed, filmed and edited by Rosaline Ben-Baruch Lange, Rebecca Helene Hoffmann and me, Emilie Toldam Futtrup.
